This is a fender-mount tail lamp designed for use with a generator lighting system. What interested us is that it uses LEDs for much brighter illumination. It is a blinking light rather than steady state.

This very interesting new fender-mount tail lamp has LED illumination for great visibility. It is battery powered and by now you must be aware of the great battery life of LED systems. In addition, this lamp has both ambient light AND motion detectors. When it determines that the ambient light level is dark enough it automatically turns on. When you stop at a signal, it blinks for 40 seconds and then turns off, coming back on when you start moving again.
